Description of Organisation / Background

When Kiwibank came to life in 2002, our mission was clear: to win the hearts of Kiwis by providing better service, better products, lower fees and better interest rates.

Today we've got more than 850,000 customers, a nationwide ATM network and we're in PostShops all over the country which means we can stay open longer than other banks - even on weekends in most places. And we're in malls and airports, and other places that make it easier for our customers.

Description of Position Being Advertised

At Kiwibank we're passionate about People. Our business is growing, so we're looking to take our People function to the next level. Through creating a number of new roles, we aim to broaden our skillsets and deepen our expertise, so we can deliver excellent People operations and a first class experience to our leaders and their teams.

We're building our People Analytics capability in the People Team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and passionate HR/people information analyst who wants to play a role in evolving our People related reporting and analytics function.

This is a really hands on, operational role where you get to work with data galore! Added to this, there'll also be a strong emphasis on identifying and implementing new reporting needs, and making it easier for our customers to consume people data. This is an important role, as you'll support numerous people related information sources, and play a key part in ensuring data quality and integrity.

What will it take to make this role your own? In addition to being genuinely passionate about data and reporting, you'll need to have an eye for detail, as well as be methodical when working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You'll need an understanding of People processes, key people metrics and drivers, and an instinctive analytical ability to drive value from the data for the business. Although not essential, experience working with people data and metrics would be an advantage.

This is a great opportunity for someone at an intermediate level working in a reporting and data management role, who's looking for an opportunity to play a part in supporting the development of reporting and analytics inside the People Team.

If you're already feeling excited at the thought of this analytics role, and you want to play an integral part in helping to deliver Kiwibank's wider People Strategy, then we can't wait to hear from you…. Apply Now!

Applications close at the end of the day on Sunday 14 August.
