One of my clients has asked for some information regarding the compulsory Superannuation coming in next year for New Zealand employees.
I can’t seem to find any information about this anywhere and was hoping you would be able to shed some light on it for me.

Answer:

There is no compulsory superannuation coming for or planned for in NZ at this time or in 2011. We have an election next year and if there is a change of government that could be on the cards but that is all.
