If You Are New To Payroll
There are two basic courses that anyone new to payroll should do, they are:
If You Have Experience With Running A Payroll
There are two initial courses for experienced payroll practitioners and then depending on the needs of the business a range of payroll skills development courses along with optional courses as well. All courses can be assessed if requested to give creditstowards NZPPA accreditation.
NZPPA Certificates (eLearning)
All NZPPA Certificates are assessed. This will mean that learner will need to complete assessment activities to be awarded a NZPPA certificate. There are two NZPPA Certificate programmes that are currently available.
NZPPA CERTIFICATE IN PAYROLL PRACTICE
This is an intermediate level payroll qualification. It would suit a person that is sole charge and runs a payroll end to end. It covers a broad spectrum of payroll activities along with related topics so to get a rounded understanding of all the interactions that payroll is involved in.
NZPPA CERTIFICATE IN PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
This is a senior level payroll qualification. To undertake this programme you must manage a payroll team. It would also suit a person that is responsible in ensuring payroll is a cost effective part of the business.
