This webinar is open to all as we believe this is a very important area for payroll and its supporters to understand, support and become involved in.
Payroll giving is a charitable donation program that allows employees to make regular contributions to selected charitable organisations directly from salary or wages. Making donations this way reduces their PAYE.
Payroll Giving is a choice of the employer and can only be provided if you file your Employment information—IR348—electronically.
NZPPA already supports registered charities with a blanket 50% off joining NZPPA and 50% off all training and events (Ongoing).
For payroll to be seen as a profession, it is important to show that we support and give back through our activities. Payroll Giving is undoubtedly a beneficial way to do this by aiding the very important work charities do in our communities.
At the same time, it makes it easier for employees to donate and receive the donation credit off their PAYE at the same time as making the donation.
